Beautiful building but the tapestries are only a few and almost no explanations.

This is a very cool outdoor theater where opera performances take place during the summer as part of the Aix-en-Provence Festival. It's situated in an old courtyard and I doubt that there's a bad seat in the house (it's not huge). It's very important to bring layers of clothing for evening performances. Even if it's hot during the day the temperature can drop swiftly!

Charmant théâtre en extérieur, très beau cadre pour les spectacle d'été (siège en bois un peu durs cependant ;-) )

Habe dort die Oper Dido und Anaeas gesehen. Es war eine wunderschöne Inszenierung, berührend schön in der Atmosphäre des Innenhofes unter freiem Himmel und einer feinen Mondsichel. Wer Freude an Musikfestivals unter freiem Himmel hat, wird es geniessen in Aix grossartig Opernkultur zu erleben. Ich komme wieder.
