Penny Cars

Waited 50mins on a taxi and ended up 15 mins late for an appointment, which was then cancelled when I arrived because of how late I was. Charged me 8 fair. I was so angry I phoned swift cars to take me home. EXACT SAME ROUTE. 5.40. Absolute disgrace of a company that I will never use again.

Driver arrived and stated he was not required to wear a mask. As a public health nurse I felt it was my duty to inform the company. The driver ticked all the boxes being at high risk of not surviving this horrible disease. Sadly they were not receptive and hung the phone up on me. Despite the So if you want to catch Covid call Penny Cars.

Just had a taxi waiting outside my house. I went out & explained it's not for this address cause we never called a taxi. This has happened a few times in the last couple of months. Driver was argumentative & rude! Next time I will leave the taxi sitting outside wasting his time!

I tried to get picked up whilst walking home from Coatbridge town centre. I said I was on the main street at the entrance to James Dempsey Gardens. I was asked for an address and responded that I was on the main street before the Time Capsule, at the entrance to James Dempsey Gardens. The girl again insinsted on an address. I explained, Main Street heading west. She cut me off because her computer obviously required an address. Tuesday night, virtually dead!!!

Penny cars is my only choice for taxi service.i use to stay in airdrie but now holytown, and penny cars is there for me to pick me up and take me to and fro where I need to go, then bring me back home. They have never let me down on a lift and have never been ride etc like some are saying.. I've had nothing but kindness from this firm even when I've made a error booking. I to most of the drivers but mostly all I can say is percent truth that I've never had any issues with them, the staff are always polite and helpful when I phone, and because I'm a regular it gives me options on phone on where my last pick ups was, so easy to choose from. I can also use the app to book my taxi and the app as well as the text link let's you know where your taxi is. I've been using this firm for over 6 years, only firm I trust as I suffer from severe anxiety when out and about so use the form allot to take and return me back home. Most of the drivers know me through using the service allot. And all drivers are really good and friendly very professional all round and great value for money too. I won't use any other firm... Keep up the good work penny cars 10 stars plus from me percent great taxi service thank you..
