One of the very best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. Small, quaint... great food and outstanding service!! Make a reservation... small venue so limited seating.

For special occasions and/or group gatherings for meat eaters, this is my favorite place in San Francisco. Large, dark wood/leather main dining room; comfortable bar with serious bartenders; both large and small private group dining rooms. I can't comment on fish, chicken, appetizers, etc. here, because I don't order them. It's always a tough decision between the rib eye and the large prime rib, although I usually go with the latter - excellent. Yes, a bit pricey, but to me, well worth it. I have attended numerous group dinners there over the years and to my knowledge, all in our groups left full and extremely satisfied.

Every table was dirty, made reservation no table was set. Floor was sticky. Walked to McDonald’s across the street and I dont even like fast food just starving from the drive here. Had to screenshot my video because I didn’t take pictures because there was so many messes to show. It was easier to get them all in a video.

Enjoy a dining experience at a small upscale, yet affordable, Italian restaurant you can call your own little secret, where waiters shake napkins out on your laps & treat you like royalty & family (even when you're still there after closing, talking everything including politics & religion like us last night). Ambiance is to the max & invites romantic evenings out or dinner with friends & family. Tiny sparking lights & low lighting create intimate evening atmosphere, all reminiscent of a similar restaurant we went to in Italy. Family owned & run, this setting is smaller, but tables are well spaced creating room to talk & feeling of being socially distanced. They also offer dining on patio. Food is delicious, not too over-spiced or seasoned allowing the genuine taste of sauces, salmon, bass, etc. to come through. They also serve vegetarian entrees. We recommend pasta entrees, Veal Piccata, Chicken Maria, & Specials of the Day.
