We were looking for a nice little restaurant to finish off our day in Bournemouth and found this gem. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, just the right amount of Mediterranean flair, not too much to be kitsch, just enough to be cozy and pretty. We went for the set menu, which includes 5 meze, a mountain of meat, plenty of sides and even dessert! The food is absolutely out of this world delicious. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Especially the chicken and lamb skewers were an absolute delight. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

The food at this restaurant was excellent - very tasty and does the Mediterranean proud. I would definitely recommend visiting based on the quality we received. However, the rest of the experience was not quite as good. I've listed a few examples below: COVID-19 measures: non-existent. I appreciate it is incredibly difficult to maintain social distancing inside a restaurant and that there is obvious risk visiting any public place in the middle of a pandemic, but it is possible for staff to wear face-masks, and for limits to be made on the number of guests inside the building. unfortunately, there were absolutely no measures in place. Quality of service: poor. We asked for the bill several times and were ignored for a lengthy period of time, as were the people sat adjacent to us. Completely understandable when it's a busy evening. At this point, however, the restaurant had become relatively quiet and staff were much less rushed than they had been previously in the evening. Overbooked: we booked a table and arrived to find there were no tables available. No apologies were given, no drinks offered to occupy us as we waited. Instead, we stood for ten-minutes by the front door until a table became free. Once seated, we had to wait a further fifteen-minutes before we were finally asked what we would like to drink. In fairness to the restaurant, it was very busy and I appreciate staff were rushed at this point, but it really doesn't take long to at least get the drinks underway.
