Age UK Milton Keynes is located in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom on 1 Chadds Ln, Peartree Bridge. Age UK Milton Keynes is rated 4.4 out of 5 in the category non-profit organization in United Kingdom. Age UK Milton Keynes is a local independent charity that provides support and services to over 10,000 older people and their families in the borough of Milton Keynes every year. We run advice sessions at six locations in Milton Keynes each week and our Community Home Visitors visit many older people at home every week. Over £1.5M was claimed in welfare benefits following our intervention last year. Getting older can lead to people feeling lonely and isolated and many of us worry about losing our health and becoming a burden on others. Whether you call it social connections or sustaining a network, support and friendship is good for us. Having friends and people to talk to can help us cope with day-to-day anxieties. Age UK Milton Keynes aims to keep older people independent and feeling supported. We rely on the income from our shops, the charges from some of our services, fundraising activity, donations and legacies. We need your support so that we can carry on making a difference. Please get in touch if you’d like to volunteer or fundraise for us. Together we can improve later life for everyone in Milton Keynes.

I go to lunch clubs on a Monday and Wednesday and have a great time with bingo, raffle, and then lunch. When you get there you are greeted by some of the volenteers and offered tea or coffee and on each table there is a plate of assorted biscuits and a quiz and word search to dabble with while you wait for everyone to arrive. You have to pay for the community bus that picks you up and takes you home, the drivers are lovely and very helpful.I have lots of fun and have made lots of friends and had many a good laugh.
