Found this place by accident - so happy we went! I bought some gorgeous pottery and some gift packaged coffee - don't know yet who will be the lucky recipient. Definitely worth the stop! Also, the owners are friendly and a wealth of information!

Found this amazing little Coffee Roaster, The Back Porch, while on a recent trip to the Eastern Fraser Valley in Beautiful British Columbia (staycation). This is some of the best coffee I have had in a long while! Their coffees are certified organic roasted in small batches in a Circa 1919 Royal #5 Flame Roaster. Their prices are reasonable & their service is very friendly & knowledgeable. The also have amazing made-in-house pottery! We were so fascinated with the coffee & pottery we forgot to check out their barn of antiques & baskets! I guess we'll just have to make another trip!

A hidden gem. Stop by for some lovely pottery, fresh roasted coffee beans, antiques or just to feed the chickens.

My husband drinks anything from instant coffee to some of the finest coffee in Vancouver and Europe but he raves about Rustic Rooster( the only blend we’ve tried).. I’m going to see if they will mail out to us otherwise I’ll stock up next year when we’re at Harrison.
