It's been weeks that I walk in the streets of the city center during my lunch break and I've tried many places for their menu du jour, this one became my favorite one by far. The restaurant is located in a side street next to a busy avenue and it is hard to guess what is waiting for you at first place. The interior design of the restaurant is the finest I've seen on Strasbourg. Service is efficient and staff is nice. I had a salmon tartare as a starter and it was delicious. The main dish was a thai style noodle and fish, it is maybe not the best thai noodle I've tried but the taste was very delicate and the fish very fresh. Regarding the price, 16 euros for starter and main dish is unbeatable for its category. I didn't try the main menu but I will for sure.
Very delicious food, great quality, friendly waiter and easing ambience. We were lucky to have discovered the place with surprise without reservation on a Saturday evening. I spent a great time there. Will definitely come back.
The Brunch plate “La Classique” was the most unsatisfied brunch I have ever had. It cost 17 and you get only 2 scrambled eggs, just a little bit tomatoes, 4-5 pieces mushrooms, 2 little slices bacons and a couple of sausages. The only positive side I can add is 25cl fresh orange juice. And a cup of tea. If you ask a carafe water, they provide it bur you should drink with your glassed they they served the juice. Based on true story.
The 2 stars is for the brunch which (should be) pretty good. However the plate of 21 missed things mentioned on the menu. Had to wait crazyyyy long until someone would help us in the first place to get drinks and order. When mentioning that something was missing I had to wait 40 minutes before it had come and had to remind the staff 3 times. One small tip - either get more staff or make them more attentive because they did not pay attention to tables enough at all. The waiter did offer us cappuccino from the house for the waiting, that was nice thank you.
Two stars for the design and the water for our doggie. The service was agitated, didn't pay attention at all to our needs. The wine was so full of acid. Risotto missed some real taste, but the shrimps were quite good. The music was nice but the service just ruined the place. So much tension, running around...
Interesting restaurant, great ambient, amazing interior design. Very fast and pleasant service. The menu is fusion of few cuisines, especially tapas and appetizers, but the main dishes are more classic but with creative side dishes. While elaborate, portions are not that big, and the menu is quite simple and straightforward, few dishes, but the variety is good. The prices are moderately high.
Nice place awesome food and relatively good price.
