A Massive thanks you to the to all the team at Adlam & Coomber! I suffer with visual distress and dyslexia, when I attended my appointment they discussed the option of coloured lenses to help ease this. They helped me through the whole process from finding the correct colour lenses, through to helping me decide on which specs to go for! They have made a massive difference and helped me in my day to day life. I would highly recommend.

I go every year for a eye test they have given me glasses. As a professional photographer my eyesight is important
From my first correspondence the service was exemplary, an immediate call to book an appointment the following day. Prior to my appointment a telephone call from the Optometrist who asked a very detailed series of questions regarding my eye history, at my appointment I received a very thorough and professional eye examination. I then had my choice of frames for my new glasses plus a re-glaze of my old frames. There was no pressure to buy 'extra's. I will not be returning to my previous optician, this has been the best service I have had by far.
An odd little building tucked away behind St Mary's church, but taking the Covid-19 precautions very seriously, and I had a thorough eye examination for an emergency medical issue. Had a call from Lee Thomas before my visit to discuss the condition in depth and to make sure I was aware of the current precautions. Special mention to my optometrist Charlotte Wilson who did an excellent job while I steamed up the equipment through my face mask!
Always a five star service here... Can't speak highly enough of their dedication and attentiveness -- I owe my sight to them and Lee Thomas in particular... he can't do enough - so would recommend Adlam and Coomber if you want the best service in town :-)
