Had a really lovely lunch here this week, great window table with views out over the water and surrounding countryside. Good menu at reasonable prices, friendly staff. Loved the selection of local beers that they have available. Also very nice to see the traditional thatched section of roof still in place. Good car parking (free) and nice to be able to access the local paths for a stroll after lunch. Thoroughly recommended.

Was staying in Caister and had passed the Acle on a few occasions and really like the location and the look of the pub, so finally made it here Very Covid aware The staff were friendly and it appeared nothing would be to much trouble. Put those on top of the excellent food and you've got a winner Will definitely be revisiting before my return home

Brilliant location, however not dog friendly, no water bowls. There is a an inside and outside menu for some mad reason. The outside menu has a choice of 5 items all with chips. You can not have an inside meal outside. Very over priced. Do not waste your time here. Looks great but it is lost on poor service and menu choice.
