I ordered the 1/2 pd brisket and it was not the best. It was undercooked and real fatty. The cole slaw and rice and beans was very good. Next time I am ordering the shrimp. It looked really good. Also my husband told me the catfish was good. I can't eat fish

My experience here at this bbq restaurant was absolutely far below what I expected... My daughter and I went in to dine on January 18,2021 at about 3:00 p.m. I noticed the place was empty and three employees were standing at the counter and attended us quickly which was great! They were also polite ! All was going superb until I got my food ! It was atrocious... I ordered the moist brisket plate with 2 sides ( potato salad and beans) I was totally disappointed in what and how I was served.. my food was accompanied by two slices of bread. I asked one of the girls if she could please substitute the bread for 2 corn tortillas she said no I can’t do it ( seeing the restaurant was empty it would have been in their best interest to retain a customer) Nope, not Aces ! I said okay and left the bread there. The moist brisket was actually rubbery and cold the potato salad didn’t have any taste or texture, the beans tasted like it had been sitting there since last night and the only great thing about my experience was my tea and the fact that they made my daughters chicken tenders fresh ! Never again!
Moist brisket is tender and has good flavor on the bark. Ribs and pulled pork were not good though. Not sure how they can serve good brisket but dont put in as much attention to their other meats. Rice and beans were also good.
Ordered the catfish and shrimp plate. As you can see the catfish was more like tenders. Same size as the shrimp. I thought to myself, good thing I didn't order the catfish by itself. Food was ok, but for 15.99 I expected full size fillets!
