Went to try here after hearing it was under new management. Had a delicious breakfast at a great price with a cuppa included with the cost, it now has a friendly atmosphere since being taken over as the last bloke was a right clown. Also recently given a grading of 5 by food standards agency.. Well worth a visit.

To be completely honest with this review I will tell you that I know the owner and seen how this run down cafe has changed over the last 6 mths ....Having stopped at this new cafe afew different times over the last few days...i can honestly say how clean, comfortable and warm it is..the food is excellent.. I spoke to the staff and found them very helpful....the cafe was given 5 stars for health and hygiene.
Very friendly reception was received on my first visit to the Ace of Spades Cafe since becoming under new managment. Excellent food and a good variety well cooked dishes, if you have a special request on how or what you wanted the managment tried there hardest to accommodate. The Ace of Spades is well worth a visit call in and give it a try even if it is just for a cup of tea or coffee, plenty of parking for lorries cars and motorbikes. You will not be disappointed
Dan and Ness are a lovely couple, Starting out together to run the ace of spades cafe, call in and give them your support, lovely food and a lovely atmosphere
Really enjoyed going to Ace of Spades Wonderful Staff and excellent food, always welcoming and made to feeling comfortable. 100% recommend to visit for a drink and freashly made breaky
