I have eaten here several times following lockdown and have been impressed by the measures in place and the food is much improved as well. Every meal I have had was really tasty and I would highly recommend the 12 hour cooked beef and the triple cooked chips. On the dessert menu the brownie was delicious. Can't fault the service either as the team were really attentive and helpful.

Really enjoyed the food and the company. Andy the landlord kept everyone fed and watered. I hope they stay on at the Whittaker's after the lockdown as everyone enjoys the food.

Went here with family for Sunday dinner. Good food menu with plenty to choose from. Has children's menu for smaller portions. Beer was good. Food was excellent. Pool table and cosy real fire. Plenty of free parking. Staff are friendly and helpful.
