Been a fan of folding campers for a number of years now as we feel it offers the best of both worlds, we decided to take the plunge and purchase one. There are various options on the market and believe me we looked at all manufacturers. We felt that a pennine folding camper was the one for us, due to it being hand made in Britain, unlike others. We first visited the NEC show in Feb 2016 and met with Julie and Nick who couldn't help us enough. They answered every single question we had and are very knowledgeable in all of the products they sell. We ordered a Conway Countryman and arranged a collection date, which believe me couldn't come soon enough. We travelled to Accrington to collect the camper direct from the factory and once again were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We even got to see how they were made. Nick gave us a full demonstration of the camper and since purchase has answered every question that has cropped up. We are so glad that we made the decision and cannot recommend this company enough. We will of course visit them this October at the NEC to view the brand new 2018 models.
Amazing how much thought goes into these folding campers. The owners have worked there for many years and understand every detail. Lovely guys.
My Wife & I have recently taken delivery of a new 2021 Pennine Pathfinder 6 Berth folding camper delivered to our home address direct from the Pennine factory in Lancashire. This unit was purchased at Camping International , Gillingham , Kent dealing with Terry Dallas.(Always very helpful & professional) My wife and I have been purchasing Pennine products from Terry (a range of different models) for over 14 years and always found the quality, reliability & craftsmanship in the build top class. As a retired Engineer I must commend Pennine on the most exceptional quality and attention to detail on the Pathfinder and a number a great improvements built into this eye catching model. Our previous 2012 model was good but the Pathfinder is nothing short of stunning and a game changer. British built as well & Julie at Pennine extremely helpful. Well done all . I had a query regarding the charging system on my Pathfinder and hoped to receive an email response in a couple of days. However, I had a phone call from Nick after he arrived home that evening and before he'd even sat down to his tea! He gave me an exhaustive run down on the Pathfinder's electrics and charging system. A nice chap who obviously cares about Pennine products and owner's experience. Well above and beyond the call of duty!
