TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” It supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community. The TEDx Program is designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED. TEDxNYUAD is a 200-person conference, hosted at the NYUAD Arts Center every April. It houses speakers from a very diverse background and aspires to create a platform on which our students can showcase their innovative ideas, achievements and struggles to Abu Dhabi and beyond.
