Good service with a difficult purchase
like
Prompt and efficient service so far
We have been very impressed with the service from Abode in the selling of our house. We changed agents to Abode when the previous local agents had produced very few viewings in 3 months. The enthusiasm of the Ashbourne staff was soon producing interest in our property, several viewings and ultimately the purchasers. We live abroad and the ladies were especially helpful in checking for important mail and reading the electricity meter from time to time. We are very grateful to all at Abode - they deserve their champagne.
We bought our new house through Abode. I was disappointed when it turned out the agent who showed us around didn't tell us about the septic tank or unregistered land in the garden - the seller told us whilst the survey was taking place. He also made up a little story about the owners sitting in the conservatory, looking at the stars, listening to the radio, which again the seller told us her parents had never done that! But what makes this a 5 star review is Michelle in the sales progression team. She was excellent in terms of helping me chase the seller's solicitor as we had quite a few items that were delaying things, and Beighton's were holding things up. She was always cheerful, kept me up to date, and helped me get everything in place so we could complete. My own estate agent (Purple bricks) did nothing so it was great to have Michelle on my side, as there is so much more to being an estate agent than the actual sale!!
