Had fab dog walk around Abingdon - these former abbey domestic buildings are lovely and close to the Abbey church, gardens and the historic bridge.
It's a small theatre in the old monastic buildings. Had great atmosphere.
This is a truly delightful and historic building. It is part of what was a large complex of medieval buildings that were all part of Abingdon Abbey, one of the most powerful and impressive abbeys of the pre-reformation period. Unfortunately, the abbey was demolished by Henry VIII and now only an area marked out in stones outlines where the buildings were. The Unicorn Theatre seats about 80 and is utterly charming.
Awesome venue! Well worth a visit for the events they put on such as the cinema. We celebrated our wedding here and Tim and the team were very helpful. All our guests commented on how special a building it was to be married in.
