Both my grandparents moved into Stowford House at the beginning of last year and I can honestly say it was such a relief to find a home that not only let them stay together as a couple until the end, but also a home that really cared about them. I know my grandparents time at Stowford House was filled with love, laughter and excellent care.
My mother has had to move to Stowford House from her home due to increasing medical needs. This is a huge step for any person to accept they need to release their hold of their independence and let go of their home and move into a care home. The transition into Stowford has been handled exceptionally well by all the team. My mother has many needs and has had to have complex support to enable her to remain as capable as possible. We are confident that she is now receiving the best care and support we could wish for and my mother is very happy in her new home. Thank you to all the management, nursing and care staff for all you do. You are all very much appreciated by us all.
Lovely place to work, Manager is very hands on, home has a warm welcoming team, the home has a warm family feel.

My Mother lived at Stowford House for over 5 years. The care she received was very good, the staff are extremely kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble. The times that I was around at meal times the food smelt and looked appetising. All the rooms are kept very clean. There this a lovely garden which the residents can enjoy during the summer months, which is also welcoming for visitors.We found very little to complaint about and our family would recommend this Nursing home. I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the staff for their kindness care and consideration during the last days of my Mothers life. Thank you xx
