Abergavenny Baker

A long over due post. Attended the Italian Breads course in November. It was a great experience. Rachael shares her knowledge really well and was a joy to be around. Looking forward to going back for another class.

Back for third time.... Italian breads incl focaccia and ciabatta. Fantastic new setting in the new cookery school. Great value for money and lumch and refreshments included and yoh go home with a bag of your own baked breads! Back for second lot of baking - thoroughly enjoyed Welsh breads today. My husband says the Bara Brith is just as good as he remembers as a child and the medieval trencher bread and swansea loaf are ace. Day baking course learning to make french bread and croissants exceeded all expectations - talented and passionate baker Rachael managed to get good baking out of all of us from the novice to the experienced cook. Highly recommend

I’ve been to 2 courses at the Abergavenny Baker and as a keen amateur baker I can thoroughly recommend the days. Today I went to the Sourdough class. I have been unable to make a successful sourdough prior to today, but after careful tuition by Rachael I made a loaf that I am very proud of. I also had a fabulous relaxed day, with laughter and new friends made. Thank you Rachael .

What a fantastic day. A real treat with good friends, lots of laughs, in a relaxed beautiful setting making the most delicious breads. Rachael is a master of her craft. Would recommend to anyone.
