Had the Venison pie. 1.60 and genuinely the best pie I've had in this short life. Beautiful pastry, stuffed with chunky meat pieces and a delicious gravy (hint of star anise/cloves?). Check it out.

first visit to this butchers, bought mince and belly of pork; both smelt \off\- binned the belly of pork, mince seemed a bit better- cooked it for the dog, the poor thing vomited; wasted 18- never going there again
Hot pies are out of this world!
Bought lamb mince yesterday to make meatballs today. Mince completely off. Not acceptable. Not near butchers to buy more. Last night of holiday too. Really annoyed. Obviously need a decent butcher working there. Won’t be back!!!
