Geear place for easy hiking and trail running. Always loads of mountain bikers there so I guess it's good for that too. At the weekends the carpark is always very very busy. Not everyone understands the one way system

Nice varied forests, and REALLY long walking paths/tracks, which are wide & well used/maintained. Some of the mountain-bike trails seem to be quite extreme! & plenty of quiet spots where you can 'just get away from it all, & enjoy nature'.

Nice forest, mainly coniferous with some beech woodland. There are lots of tracks and paths for walking, horse riding, gravel cycling and mountain biking. Some lovely views into Aberdeenshire. Close to Aberdeen City, it is a popular spot. Mountain bike trails can get very muddy in wet times.

Good walk, some parts of the track is muddy due to cycling. Suitable for cycling.
