Well let’s just say there selling bikes they just don’t have. No communication from them. Had to chase them constantly after the promised delivery dates for information. Only to be told I would have to wait 6 months for a bike they promised in 3 weeks. They were quick at taking full payment to order the bike but still waiting for a refund. The shop can’t tell you anything without waiting 5 days to speak to head office. Wouldn’t go back at all.

Shop excellent however you have to be very careful crossing the bus lane to get in and out. I got a ticket from this visit for being in said bus lane. Very harsh.

I put my bike in for a service at the Aberdeen branch, after 7 days I got a phone call to say the bike was ready to be picked up. 20 miles from home to pick up the bike only to be told it wasn’t ready, the mechanic told me it would be ready the next day. Same trip in, again to be told the bike wasn’t ready. As I had been dropped off at the store I had to wait just under 3 hours whilst they rushed the bike through a service. The manager was very poor in customer service as he would not come out to the shop floor to speak with me. As I was to be cycling home I asked for the component parts that were changed to be kept in a bag, so I could pick them up later. When I went back to pick them up they were missing, and I was told my the staff member “sorry someone must have misplaced them”. I was offered no compensation for my property going missing or a valid explanation. The manager still wouldn’t see me, the parts that are missing is an Ultegra cassette and chain. I’ve had to get a bike mechanic to refit loose parts that were changed over. It was a very poor service by the mechanics and now I have property that hasn’t been returned to me, with nothing to compensate my loss. I emailed Evans cycles to complain about the experience but have had no response, something I’ve noticed from other customers, seems to be the norm at Evans Cycles. Is this acceptable to Evans Cycles? I would like to be reassured that it’s not.
