Took my laptop into glitch busters The casing was loose and hinges had gone. The power port was also loose . After around 2 weeks I had it back after paying 200 pounds for repairs. The USB ports weren't working and it was shutting down and off after around 20 to 30 mins use . Returned it for further repair which he was unable to carry out ( his words ) . Gave me back my laptop and an adaptor for the one working USB port . After a few weeks it totally stopped working. I have taken it to another repair shop today and it turns out the fan wasn't screwed back in at all as it completely fell loose and no cover was attached. Both of which were OK before I gave it to him . This apparently has caused critical errors due to over heating which would explain why it kept shutting down . My friend went to see him regarding this today and although he claims my laptop had been dropped this wasn't the case . It went in to have hinges, casing and charging port fixed and has ended up as scrap . My photos ,work and book files all on it . Surely making sure the fan is screwed in and working properly is a given when returning a computer to its owner . The disc drive which he also claimed fixed fell apart when I tried to access it . He gave me a full refund but has absolutely ruined my computer and exasperated my ill health with his shoddy and uncooperative attitude. My laptop went in with problems and came out as unfixable scrap. I would never recommend him or his service to anyone.
Can highly recomend Dan at Glitchbusters, we purchased a gaming pc and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and we had a 5 star service from start to finish. We have been delighted with our pc, top job !!!!
