Interesting scenery of an old 13th century gate and a square ruin of the 17th century, which used to be a cistercensian abbaye before. Without corona-pandemic, there is a big summer light-show in front of the monasterie's ruins surrounded by lush woods.

A small but lively artisan market there on a Sunday. Plus a bar overlooking the lake & another bar further down. The Abbey and woods and lake are very nice indeed. Better in the sunshine!

Beautiful walks in stunning setting
Beautiful partly restored abbey at the side of the Nantes Brest canal. Loads to see even if you don't want to pay to go in the abbey itself. Good cafe / restaurant facing the abbey on the other side of the canal.
Great artwork (displays vary) and a very good ipad-based self tour in English (and French of course). Very nice restaurant just over the bridge. Doesn't look much but really nice food and a lovely view of the river and Abbey.
