What a beautiful café! Very nice and helpful staff, delicious food, and that for a reasonable price! You can even get free water (rare in Aarhus)! I will come here a lot!!!

I’ve been to Åland before for brunch and it was quite nice, but now I’ve been back for dinner and was very disappointed. First of all, I asked the waitress before ordering a Cesar salad whether the sauce was made with anchovies. She said they weren’t, but my salad really tasted like fish. I asked again and she promised they didn’t add anchovies, but she said that a lot of people think the salad tastes like fish. I wish she had mentioned that before I ordered it. So I was left hungry and decided to just invest on a dessert. When I called the waitress to ask for it, she said “sorry, kitchen is closed”. What kind of restaurant doesn’t inform you about the time for the last orders? So I left feeling hungry and disappointed. Really wouldn’t recommend for dinner time!

We had a open face burger (130kr) and a falafel salad (100kr). On the face of it, the price seems a bit outrageous, which it is for such pedestrian dishes, but it has to be said that both were very tasty.
The brunch is really nice. So awesome that you can decide which dishes you want, instead of a buffet. They have a very nice outdoor seating in the back yard.
Lots of good places to sit and a good atmosphere
Very nice place to eat very good food. Wide variety of meals served by friendly people. All the staff works hard offer a great service.
