The supermarket has recently been updated. There is now a useful self checkout and scan as shop system. Sadly the size of the store and the warehouse isn’t large enough the meet the demand of the ever growing town with many items frequently sold out. On the positive side, the staff is friendly, and there is a wide choice in specialized products for people with allergies or lactose intolerance. If this is the case then this is the supermarket to be in Aalter, if you are looking to shop for more general products any other supermarket in town will also do the job. If you want a Delhaize in the region, I recommend the one in Maldegem, they aren't short of products as quickly, the store is new and I suspect the back storage facilities are more suited to meet demand.

Delhaize in Aalter is een fijne supermarkt! Veel licht, volle rekken en een mooi gevarieerd assortiment! Mooie beenhouwerij ook met zeer mooie kaasafdeling! Vriendelijke bediening en grote parking!
