Very disappointed today. Visit started off nicely with good service from the lady that served me. My mum got some food too. At the end of her meal my mum popped up to use the toilets like she had done in the past. One of the ladies came over from the counter as asked if she was with me so I said yes and that she was just using the toilet. I was then told that she couldn't so said, as I was still eating, can you let her know then. She said as she is with you can't you which made no sense to me at all as I was still eating and she was able to approach me. As I didn't move fast enough at her beck and call she then muttered that she was probably using the toilet now anyway. Why she didn't just call up the stairs in the first place is beyond me. If the toilets are not to be used put a sign up and if you have a problem with a customer speak to the customer directly. I found the whole episode highly unprofessional.

Well protected Covid wise, This is a REALLY good bakery, their mince pies are very good, as are their custard pie's. Their butchery Dept is also of high quality, if you live in Lincoln there is probably a branch near you. Use it!

#eatouttohelpout Quick and friendly service and currently at half price so 6 for a salad, a seeded filled roll and 2 drinks which is reasonable. Had gone in for a jacket potato rather than salad (wheat intolerant) so a little disappointed that they had none during lunch time. Outdoor seating area was erm...ok... seating was rather damaged and tables had seen better days. Also though there was a sign saying about track and trace, we were at no point offered opportunity to give them our details so not sure if we're supposed to as to? All in all, ok food, ok seating area, general ok all round really.
