A lovely find. Very friendly and relaxed place. A converted Chapel with dining on two levels. We had lunch and coffee. We will be back!

This place was quite a revelation. The frontage does not do it justice. When you walk to the back it is a really lovely building. The staff as well as the coffee were great, It was so relaxing and comfortable and also very personable I would highly recommend this place.
Our first visit to Chard was made even better when we came across this very friendly, very comfortable and very dog friendly cafè with fantastic selection of food.
Been just twice. .for coffee and yesterday toast. Love what they have done to the building choice of tables and chairs or comfy sofas. Good, and reasonably priced,coffee. We asked for thick toast, which although small slices was thick with generous amount of butter and very reasonably priced. From our point of view shame it doesn't open til 9.30 but quite understand owners wanting a later start . Good Luck.
