We adopted our dog from ABLDR several months ago and the whole adoption process was very pleasant. The volunteers really make a big effort to match the right dog with your situation. The transport went as they described it, and the follow-up afterwards, and community you land in are absolutely amazing! I can definitely recommend adopting a dog through this charity!

We rescued our little Nell at the end of February 2020 - just before lockdown! She is the sweetest girly and we are so grateful to have her. ABLDR were incredibly efficient, gave us loads of really useful information especially as we had not had a rescue before. They kept in touch and were overall great to deal with. I would highly recommend them.
We have just rescued a dog from a better life.Alrhough we were apprehensive of getting a dog we had not physically seen we felt these dog's to be in desperate need and applied.From start to finish the whole process thas been fantastic with really caring people.we have had rescue dog's before and I can honestly say the dog we have just added to our family has been the most gentle.
Out of all the rescue places I have been in touch with abldr is the most efficient and careing and can't do enough to help. If ever I want another rescue they will be the first people I get in touch with
