Loved this place. Stopped here for a couple of drinks after walking around the town. Excellent selection of beers and spirits. Staff were good and friendly. The bar was very well done out, inside. Log burner was lit, adding ambience.

A great, cosy little bar that's well worth a visit in Buxton. Lovely atmosphere, with twinkling fairy lights and the promise of an open fire in winter. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and handling Covid really well. Excellent selection of gins, nice prosecco. Would benefit from a drinks menu because they have an extensive range but it's difficult to take it all in, especially with table service. They could also do with a better range of craft ales on keg, especially because they promote their craft ale selection on the windows. The food smelled amazing but we didn't eat - would do in future. Book a table, it's deservedly busy! And get the window seat if you can (for two) to check out the endless stream of Buxton dogs.
Loved this place, very quaint and informal. Shabby chic with real open fire and cosy. This would be my regular if I lived in buxton
What a lovely little discovery. Been to plenty of places in Buxton but first time for this hidden gem. Lovely lovely staff, all social distancing rules adhered to, the waiting on staff member was on her own for the first hour but had no prob taking orders and serving everyone. The coffee was really nice and the choice of food very good. Enjoyed our meal too. Good value for money. The whole atmosphere was so nice. My daughter and myself will defo be going back.
We ate here for lunch this week and, haunted by the fact we had no cash with which to tip, I now must make amends by giving them a stellar review. The service and food were both welcoming and delightful and I would not hesitate to eat there again if visiting Buxton. Incredible chips. (To the owners: sorry we failed to tip when it was definitely deserved!)
