Amazing day with Iain from 4x4 Adventures around Loch Long, Luss and Loch Lomond. Iain was amazing at explaining everything from the local area right down to the details of driving the defender! He even got my partner to drive which is amazing as she doesn't like driving at the best of times! I would highly recommend the team at 4x4 adventures to anyone, you will have an brilliant time!

What a great day out and real adventure in a fantastic setting above Loch Lomond. The driving instructors Iain and Chris were very knowledgeable about the vehicles and their capabilities in such rough terrain. They made it an exciting day and what these vehicles can do in such conditions is unbelievable. Well worth the cost and the views when up high on the hills above the Loch are breathtaking. A very memorable adventure and thank you so much to the staff at 4x4 adventure for making it so.
I’m always a great believer to read what others say about an organisation, rather than what the organisation suggests we read... For that reason I’m complied to write this review. I booked 4x4 Adventures via a recommendation from the guys at Loch Loman Leisure and the reviews that I happily read on their website. After contacting Ross (principle of this organisation), to whom I found was very engaging, friendly and helpful. I explained to him that after nearly 30 years in corporate life working in and around the UK and overseas, I always enjoyed my multiple trips to Scotland and wanted to give my wife, young son and daughter a taste of what ‘real life uncluttered’ was all about, tec free getting back to nature - Ross’s off road full day adventure experience was the perfect tonic for this. With Iain’s help (Ross’s business partner) as our ‘who dares wins’ guide for the day, I can honestly say on behalf of the family we had a fabulous fun day and got to see all four seasons in one day, getting back to nature on our adventure. I cannot strongly enough recommend this company if you are looking for an outdoor adventure, book-it and then watch Scotland unfold in front of your windshield. Enjoy.......!
Fantastic day of 4x4 driving in Loch Lomond. From the start to the finish the team were great and provided an excellent service. Our instructor was friendly and full of knowledge of the local area. Despite me feeling a little car sick in the back (it was that offroad!) my husband loved the chance to have a proper go and came away much more confident at tackling off road driving. Even with the slight glitch of our restaurant being closed when we turned up for lunch our instructor swiftly whisked us away to a new location which actually was nicer and we enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The scenery and location of this experience totally made the day and we were lucky enough to see snow on the tops!! I would highly recommend 4x4 Adventures to anyone keen to have a go at off road driving in a spectacular location. Many thanks!
We had a great experience with 4x4 Adventures while our cruise was docked in Scotland for the day. My husband and I rented a car and drove to Luss which was great to be able to see the country a bit more. Our guide was fantastic and took us up the mountain where we got some great pictures (even though it was overcast, the views were incredible!). My husband drove most of the time which he had a lot of fun with, if you're comfortable driving, definitely take that opportunity to really do some authentic off road driving! Or, if you prefer not to, your guide will do all the work, either way, it's a blast!
