Have just eaten a truly scrumptious meal delivered on time and perfect. Thelamb was divine. Mother in law also had the Sunday lunch platter so delighted with it. Highly recommended amazing job well done and thank you to the staff at 31 Castlegate.
We saw the restaurant after visiting the museum and it was a great surprise. It was probably some of the best food we had in York. We had 2 dishes for 10 (lunch menu) and the food was absolutely fantastic! Very flavourful and filling. Absolutely great value! The service was also great and a very pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.
What a fantastic meal, and the price is amazing for the quality of food and portion size. Both my wife and I left here stuffed. Definitely recommend!
We had the Vegan set 3 course menu and it was sublime. The delicate tastes, attention to detail were amazing. We gave every dish 10/10. Highly recommended for vegans. It was so refreshing to see that vegans are taken as seriously and respectfully as meat eaters. Thank you.
