I adore this place. Okay, it essentially specialises in fancy porridge, but it's the best porridge you'll ever have. Some highlights I've tried include banana tahini, Nordic pear, peach and orange blossom and apricot with cardamom. Pastries and coffees are great too, can't comment on the other breakfast/lunch items because I literally only visit for the porridge. The other feature that brings me back is the atmosphere. It's both bustling and tranquil, tucked away in neal's yard. Great for people watching by yourself or catching up with a friend. It's no reservations so you have to time it right to get a table. Due to current restrictions they've moved all tables outside, but it's still cosy feeling.

Small and tiny place. Good (breakfast) is mainly bowls mostly warm (porridge) and one cold bowl. Limited selection. Service is good. Poor decor and ambience. Food is not bad but there is nothing special about the place.

One of the finest bread toast I ever got: Fresh ricotta, garlic chard, roasted hazelnut and black chili. The dish was greatly executed and the atmosphere around the restaurant in Neal's yard is simply amazing. I definitively want to come back to try out the morning Brekkies.

A friend and I visited London for two days in spring 2017 when we were both on Erasmus term - we had breakfast here both days... It's been almost 3 years and I still think about the porridge on the regular. When people ask me for recommendations, this is one of the first two restaurants that come to mind. If you're ever hoping to expand... Chicago would love to see you :)

Great food. My mom and I wanted a trendy place that my dad could eat at and be happy. Ordered porridge with tahini and bananas, perfect for the cold weather. Generous avocado toast with a fried egg, and our favorite was the toast with mushrooms, pesto and egg. Kept stealing the pesto toast off my dads plate. Skip the croissant ours was eh. Tiny place with communal tables, there’s seating outside but too cold on our visit. Spent around 34 for three dishes, one croissant and two coffees. Staff was very nice.
