The only one of 6 pubs in that area, we rang that was actually open as it said online. The man in charge was very welcoming, and helpful when asked a question. The food was inexpensive, but lovely and filling for someone like me (I am the fussiest eater in the world). The disabled toilets were outside, but inside was very clean and plenty of room in there - should you be using a wheelchair. Sorry, but my only complaint was the landlord not wearing a mask when he spoke to customers. I don't know if we will ever drive in that direction again, a bit of a distance from Liverpool. Though if my husband decides to head that way again for a weekend away. 21 The High Street is where we will be stopping to eat.

Very poor service, the lady serving shouldn't be working in hospitality as she was miserable and acted like everything was a chore. The man serving was friendly but his trousers didnt fit properly so we could see his underpants and his bum crack when he bent down. We waited almost half an hour to be served then another 35 minutes to get our food then 15 minutes to get the bill, after we'd asked for it, and we still ended up going to the bar to pay after all, because the man was too busy chatting to 2 females who were sat near the bar. And all this just for 4 burgers, which happened to be the best part of the whole evening. Shame really because the bar/pub is actually pretty decent
A nice clean bar with a nice garden terrace upstairs. A good choice of gins and some cocktails available. Staff are friendly and helpful. Whilst we were there they had someone singing and playing the guitar and he was really good. A nice atmosphere so Id definitely recommend going and giving the place a try.
Nice place, good range of drinks and brands. Great friendly service, good choice of dishes on the menu made to order in clean kitchen that is in full public view. Would definitely recommend for a meal out. Near car parks and bus station in Tadcaster High Street, near John Smith's Brewery.
