Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with this company. I was booked onto a 2 day training course. Turns out that actually means 3 and a half hours one day, and your test the next day. No where near 2 days. My first day began at 2pm, while driving, at around 5pm, I was told my next day would start at 7am. I have to small children and I was expected to find childcare and someone to take them to school the next day with such little notice and would need someone to look after them from around 5.30am as I do not live near the training centre. I had asked on the phone for the start and finish time for both days as I has to arrange child care, but was told that they couldn't tell me. This information was not in any email sent to me. At 7am I was handed some sheets of paper with potential questions that I would have to answer in the morning. The instructor said 'Sorry, I forgot to give them to you yesterday' Sorry is not very helpful when I was given 5 minutes to memorize answers to questions I hadn't seen. The trailer I was given to use was faulty, the jockey wheel got stuck and make the coupling and uncoupling section practically impossible. I could go on..... but altogether, very incompetent company.

I have just completed a morning CE refresher training with 2 Start and I must say I was very impressed. I explained I am returning to driving after a 9 year break and was immediately asked which areas I wanted to cover, therefore tailoring the lesson to my specific needs. The instructor (Roy), was knowledgable and gave good feedback throughout, explaining the reasons for his comments. The vehicle (a nearly new DAF) was clean and very smart. At the end of the lesson we had a debrief and I was invited to contact them again in the future - even if it was just for advice over the phone. It is so refreshing to deal with a professional, friendly and helpful business. If you’re looking for LGV/PCV or CPC training I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending 2 Start.
Passed today my Class1 (CE) brilliant company. Very professional training. All in all top notch
