Bit worrying - the table we were seated at was in a high traffic area between reception, the bar and the exit. Lots of people walking past us or standing not socially distanced beside us. I was regarded as vulnerable during lockdown and am quite apprehensive as to the outcome of this. On another note,I went for the pate and there was none :-( Them the curry was really stodgy. That said, we've been before and it has been great so hopefully just a bad day.
Food was as usual first class but the table we were sat at only had a stool type seating which was slightly uncomfortable as they had no back to them apart from that everything was perfect.
Very nice for a family meal. Good variety of pub food and great prices. Food was tasty but the spicy beef noodles were a bit like stew on noodles?? But the lasagne, steak pie and fish were all great. Great service, very nice and welcoming.
This place was very nice decor lovely , clean facilities but food service very poor no one wanted to take orders or money at the end . Had the fish and opted for I piece and tbh it was very little fish and a lot of batter. Would have a couple of drinks on an afternoon again but wouldn't eat again.
