Very quaint place in Aurora. The food is very delicious. We all split several plates. Had brussels, tavern salad, pickled beet salad, half roasted chicken, and the walleye. Everything was cooked to perfection and presentable. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes. The patio even though it was closed due to being in winter looks like it would be a fun happening spot in the summer.

Fantastic meal on a lovely patio. The Brussel sprouts with pork belly and maple glaze were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and crab cake in a decedent sauce. My entree was the Walleye.. Delicious risotto accompanied it. Highly recommend 1815 Tavern
Old home turned into a restaurant well decorated. It sits on a busy corner so it can be difficult at times to enter and exit parking lot. Don't let that stop you from going in. The menu is very good and well priced for the quality of food you will receive l. I ordered a burger and fries off the menu which was absolutely amazing!! One of the best burgers and fries I've ever had! So good I could of literally had two more orders !!
Historical building, well kept with lovely street appeal and outdoor dining deck that drew us to change our plans and have early supper here. YUMMY menu, with too many items to have in one visit, definitely will return! The Hamburger was one of the best EVER! Homemade picked Banana peppers were the icing on the dish! It is my benchmark burger, and fries!
