Food and service is excellent, the bar staff and waiting staff are friendly, efficient, hardworking and attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. Special thanks to Sarah & Chris for their excellent service. I stayed in the Royal Exeter Hotel which is part of the 1812 Bar/Restaurant. The hotel is welcoming and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. I've stayed there on a few occasions, I throughly recommend it. It's a short walk to the beach, pier and Oceanarium and other amenities. Thank you to everyone concerned at The Royal Exeter Hotel & 1812 Bar/Restaurant, you do an amazing job. I've already booked for next year.

Great place to chill at the lounge bar or dine in the restaurant There is a stage for live music And their are second to none. They have Happy hour daily from 5 - 7 Pm only 6 !

Our new favourite for Sunday roast in Bournemouth. Sat outside as was a lovely sunny day. Ordered at the bar but food was served very quickly which usually worries me but nothing to worry about here. Very yum!

Not sure if it’s a coincidence that this place still shows as “temporarily closed” on google - as it still should be! It used to be a fantastic premium cocktail bar. But they’ve now fell far short of that. They let people reserve tables for drinks and then don’t let walk ins to sit at them despite them being reserved for 2 hours ago and clearly a no show. This then causes the place to be 40% full and thus have no atmosphere. Avoid.
