The food was spectacular. The service was amazing. This will be our go to restaurant for any special occasion.
good service and innovative food; daily menu is tasty and balance in size and flavour. A la carte is more challenging- good for truffle lovers but perhaps small in size.
There are a number of good reviews referring to this restaurant. No need to add anything else. The guests before me are absolutely right. Fantastic place....... 5 stars. No dought!

The restaurant looks great, but the food is truly disappointing. My chicken was under cooked in places, they left plastic on cheeses on the cheese platter along with a whole lot of limp, sad lettuce leaves. I wouldn't waste my time.
This restaurant is a triumph of style over substance. The place is stunning but the food was bland and/or Ill conceived. The wines we were served as our wine match with their five course degustation were cheap and nasty. I had a bone left in my fish brandade. I've eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants, and firmly believe that 1789 needs to have their's revoked.
