Excellent place. I tried the famous chuletón de Avileño, a t-bone steak from a local breed. I had it rare, and it was just delicious: tender, but with a firm texture. The taste we incredibly rich. Be careful: the steak is really big - almost a kilo/2.5 pounds! This is not a cheap place, but it is a great choice if you have an occasion, or simply slow down and enjoy great food and the sublime view on the walls of Avila.
We selected this restaurant based on its more modern take on traditional food. It definitely met and exceeded our expectations. The food was delightful, the wine list very extensive. Coming from Australia, I was surprised to see this restaurant was very good value, compared to the same standard in Sydney. The staff were very helpful and they have menus in English.
Warm service, beautiful location, interesting menu and well cooked food. Definitely worth a visit.
