a bit dated but if you're looking to make friends it's a great first dorm as all the girls seem very friendly and I've made multiple friends. The rooms are small and there is not a lot of closet space be warned.

This residence Hall is in dire need of a renovation. Dire need. Also, they really should have kept the nunnery on the 6th floor. There's nothing more unnerving than going and taking a shower before bed and walking into your room to find your roommates boyfriend/ boys who are friends. Of course, the main reason why they haven't renovated it yet is because they can't figure out where to put all the girls. Perhaps they should think about renovating a half at a time. But what do I know? I just lived there for a year, absolutely enjoyed walking up six flights of stairs carrying my backpack or food when the elevators broke down. And of course, the ambiance was absolutely lovely. Though perhaps Baylor should invest in those disposable hair catcher things and keep replacements on hand becaus DEAR GOD SHOWER SHOES ARE A NECESSITY. EVEN ON THE CLEANEST FLOOR. But it's a good, safe place to lay your head at night your freshman year of college. Heard they replaced the absolutely friendly (not) adults in charge of the dorm my freshman year (not including the CLs. They were awesome) so the atmosphere should have changed that way too. It still needs to be renovated. Sometime before the next turn of the century.
1) Lol why is this rated 5 stars, and why is there not a 0 star option 2) Why am I paying 3K per semester to risk catching a disease by living here. 3) PRO: the CLs are nice and willing to help with anything. 4) Everything else sucks. The showers are crusty af, the building always smells like mildew, and the high humidity within the halls just tops it all off. I'm mostly salty about the bathrooms. If a health inspector came into this building, I'm pretty sure it'd fail more examinations than I do. 5) Most girls that live here are probably the rudest girls I've ever met, so that's a great community to be in!!!!!1!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have fun being ignored and catchin dirty looks when you're trying to be nice to them, also having to listen to them scream and laugh through the paper-thin walls at 3 am!!!!!11!!1!! OH and let's not forget how there's always some girl loudly sprinting down the hall for God knows what!!! :-))))))))) So basically, I just really love Collins. REally great, why doesn't everyone live here???? :-))
