This place is legit. One of those places where the proprietor knows their profession, where the selection of ales is beyond one lifetime and where one cat is always ready to be petted while the other is always ready to scratch those tipsy fingers of yours. Fine selection of beers, lovely atmosphere of 'brown cafe', welcoming stuff. Beer selection is less rich than in Cafe Beligue or Oliver, but setting is much better.
My favorite place in Utrecht! I've only been here twice but even the first half an hour was so nice I had to book another trip to Utrecht just to come here and see what's on the tap. Just an absolutely wonderful atmosphere that reminds you of neighbourhood's shared livingroom.
Cosy cafe with nice collection of Beers, whiskeys and other liquors
There are nicer places in the city but this one has a good beer selection.
