First covid vaccine appointment was smooth but my second covid vaccine (Pfizer) was cancelled because the “shipment never arrived.” My appointment was for Wednesday February 17th in compliance with the 21 day wait period. We are all now past that point. To make matters worse, tons of us were asked to wait for the shipment in their auditorium. They claimed it was going to arrive by noon. It never did. They never called to reschedule. I’m still waiting in limbo. I’ve returned in person to inquire on the 21st and they still don’t have anything. Weren’t second doses supposed to be held in reserve so that this wouldnt happen?!?? I’m furious with Lincoln hospital for not following the rules on reserving second doses and putting us all at risk by cramming us into a small auditorium with false hopes.

This is NOT the Lincoln Hosp of the past! I have to give credit where credit is due and even though I lost my dad (natural causes) the staff at Lincoln went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! From the staff taking your temperature at the entrance to all the surgeons and doctors trying to extend my dads life, they were ALL the kindest, patient and thorough group of ppl I have ever encountered at ANY hospital in ages. I would not hesitate to go to Lincoln for anything! I doubt this will be read but my family and I would like to thank all the nurses and doctors in 9b, the intensive care surgical and palliative care teams for all that was done for my dad and family. God bless.
Please if you have other options of hospitals to go to, go there. But not here. I actually dont even feel like wasting my time in writing in details. Just know its been a very bad experience. I am a very positive person. Today is a remainder why i left this hospital 19 years ago. Emergency area is a no no!!
Its gotten alot better, has a gift shop, dinner, but you have lots of places outside to get food, taco bell, McDonald's, bakery, discount stores, etc, but back in the day, people dead just waiting to be seen, so yeah I say thats something thats not happen anymore, so thats good. but its still have all the junkies outside, so that not good... bus 19, 2, 1, 32.
