Cafe Godot has, unfortunately, past its prime. Just a few yards from Valiasr Sqr. I am sure there was a time this was the center of student gathering where they could drink coffee, eat big salads and smoke as many cigarettes they wanted... unfortunately what’s left now is a menu that was hip 5 year later ago and food quality that I do not believe has not kept up with the better ingredients currently on the market. We ordered two salads, the “Madagascar” and the “Red” salads. Both were too salty and the dressings were mediocre at best. I was also shocked when the bill came because the total was at least 30% more than what I would have valued our meal. The place is very nicely decorated and the staff tried to be responsive but the food made this place a 2 ️.
Cosy comfy cafe but too pricey
The food is great. The cafe vibe is also great. Try the Pasta. Their Pasta is a level higher than other cafes.
You cannot walk in front fo this eye-catching café and not be tempted to give it a try. I love the front decoration, with plants and stuff. The staff are lovely, the playing musics are fine, the dishes are not so great (I tried cheese and chips), and the drinks are also fine. In conclusion, I recommend go there at least once.

Nice little café with polite and friendly staff, I like the environment still and I liked it more when it was less crowded but what can you do? It placed in one of the most crowded places in Tehran. Prices are acceptable and coffee is good too. I've never tried cakes but from the look of them, I think they are okay also. There are the separate places for smokers (inside) and non-smokers (in the little hallway outside). And last but not least the music selection is always great.
