Such a nice dining experience. We had Beef Bourgogne and wonderful apple and chocolate desserts. Be sure to get a reservation. However be doubly sure that you do have a reservation. Just stopped in for our second meal only to learn that we had no reservation. So small so heavily trafficked it’s no skin off their ....

Everything in this place is wonderful and make sure you rinse it with their Gewürztraminer

Very good service, but the offered dishes are not worth the money they cost. We have tasted two dishes and both were unfortunately not good.

Nice cozy interior. Food however was underwhelming. Snails we're good. The main courses quite plain and tasteless.

The restaurant is small and sweet, waiters are very nice. The meal is really super nice but takes time to wait. We order duck breast and duck legs and we recommend duck breast with medium cook!

Incredible restaurant. Very small and cozy but if you can get seated it is an amazing experience. The waiting staff was excellent and could at least speak three languages fluently. They also were very helpful when picking a wine and even let us taste test some of the recommendations. The food was very enjoyable. There is just nothing bad I can say about this place.

We tried Chez Tante Liesel after researching for a traditional local food serving restaurant in Strasbourg. As that the restaurant didn't disappoint. I would have to say that eventhough everything was good and warmly there's space for improvement regarding technique. The oven potatoes that sided the magret tasted a little as burnt oil and the magret itself could have a better seal on the fat side. The meat on the bouchées à la reine was a little unseasoned. The food being a little unsalted was normal among all elements of the dishes we tried. Overall it was a good experience but will definitely try other options the next time I'll go to Strasbourg.
