Went to the till to purchase 3 light fittings. One of which displayed 89.99 on the ceiling display ticket and on the box. On paying I noticed it went through at 99.99. On querying this, the girl in the till Informed me it always happened when head office put the prices up 10 and don’t bother telling the branches. I said well both prices are displayed and she said it didn’t matter. Refund or keep it. Wow, that’s not what I expected. As I had discussed the light with the guy in charge of lighting I asked to speak to him. He never turned up but I watched him pull the ticket off the ceiling display one! I spend 600 in The Range in one month and I found that unacceptable. I wish I knew the email of the owner Cos they’ve lost a small interior design business as a customer. How many people check their receipts when buying in The Range. Social distancing was shocking people walking out the ‘ in only’ door etc. Too many at the customer service desk getting refunds near the doorway. Customer service non existent. Rip off! Check your receipt.
