Found Solent Sky Services via an internet search for drone surveys as we were concerned that there were some slipped tiles on our roof, and the only other option was to hire scaffold. Mike responded to our initial request very promptly, and surprisingly, said he could complete the job the next day (a Sunday) as long as relevant permissions were available. Arriving at time suggested, Mike confirmed with us the exact areas of concern, informed us what the plan was, checked we had informed neighbours (purely for privacy) and prepared to launch a small drone. 30 minutes later, the entire roof had been surveyed with Mike explaining exactly what he was doing all the time. This morning, we have reviewed high-quality 72 images and videos of very good clarity, and that cover 100% of our roof (and a couple of wider angle views for reference). Solent Sky Services have provided us a very rapid, professional and good value service that has given us confidence that if any work is required, we can use these images as references; something we would not have got using scaffolding. Thoroughly recommend.

Mike and the SSS team did some aerial filming of my property and the surrounding area, and did so superbly. Navigating complex rules to obtain airspace permissions from the harbour authorities, the naval dockyard, the regional air traffic control agency, and local landowners, he kept me informed from the start to the end, providing polished and professional video products which are now being used in the marketing material for my property. Most excitingly, he used a small internal drone to provide a 'fly through' video tour of the building (which he had not done before), which came out very well. Thank you Mike and Lauren for your help, and I will definitely use in the future for my next project.
I have used Solent Sky Services on two of our sites, providing us with roof condition surveys. Dealing with them from beginning to end has been a dream, very professional from the outset and kept me informed all through the process. Out on site, they were very informative with regards to going through the process of drone photography. They answered all of my questions and went through lots of info with regards to compliance and regulation about drone flying. 5 star service and aftercare, I will definitely use them again!
SSS carried out a camera on pole survey of 5 of our properties (drone survey not possible due to licensing restrictions in a built-up area). On the day, they had to repair the pole with gaffer tape because it broke. Despite that, photographs produced were excellent and assisted us in assessing any damage caused by the recent storms. Price was very reasonable and certainly much cheaper than having to erect scaffolding to take a look. We'll probably have this survey carried out once a year, it was invaluable.
