I needed some time in an airplane that Santa Monica Flyers had in their fleet. They were professional in meeting my needs and communicated clearly when there were scheduling or weather issues. All their staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. And they have a pretty sweet (and growing) fleet of airplanes. I flew with Joseph, the general manager. I truly enjoyed flying with him and learning from him. Joseph and his staff take their jobs seriously but they make the experience fun. And flying should be fun! Either way, I highly recommend Santa Monica Flyers for those of you who may be in search of a flight school to conduct your primary or advanced training. They have a solid fleet and a lot of great instructors. They're not going to B.S. you like some of these other schools. Regards, An experienced instructor pilot

Awesome flight school, and really great people. I really appreciate the fact that they pay close attention to the airplane and check/ground them if notice anything - safety is top priority! Max and Joseph are great instructors I've worked with both of them and can definitely recommend!
Fantastic place to learn to fly. Amazing instructors, friendly staff, readily available planes, simple online booking process. Passed my check ride yesterday thanks to instructor Austin and the great team at SMF. Highly recommended!
Earned my sport license at SMF with flight instructor Sam. She was absolutely fantastic to fly with. I was more than prepared for exams (scored 95% humble brag) and the school has well maintained planes, great location and friendly staff. Their fleet of LSAs are easy to book with solid availability. Highly recommend SMF to any aspiring student or renter!
