I've had some Afghanistan food in Afghanistan before and this was my first time at Azro. My client invited me to this place and asked me to keep an opened mind. I liked the look of the interior of the restaurant, there's even a small section for more traditional dinning were you can sign on the rugs. The tea was very delicious and soothing with its taste and aroma. My client and me ordered the same type of dish and we both were very satisfied. I'm not a big lover of lamb but it was good. The host, which I believe was the owner was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning and trying some of the other meals.

Amazing experience and very quiet and pleasurable day date environment. First time trying this style food and I am hooked!!! Thank you for an amazing experience.
When we planned a trip to San Antonio a visit to Azro was surely in our iteneary. Craving for authentic Afghani cuisine for quite some time we were super excited. We ordered their Kabab combo with brown rice and their Kabuli Pulao. Taste was authentic and great. Quantities could have been better though. The staff was courteous and welcoming. I liked the decor and the place was clean and met safety reqs during covid. Overall we enjoyed our dinner.
I consider myself an Afghan cuisine connoisseur, so this place gets 5 stars. Great customer service, amazing Afghan food and family owned. Support your local small business.
Delicious food! We all loved our meals and look forward to going back. The chicken Quorma and saffron rice with orange zest was delicious. The ground beef kebab was probably my favorite of the kebabs. I'm not a lamb person but my friends are and they said it was their favorite. Afghan food is not hot-spicy, so you can appreciate some of the more subtle flavors. I was only disappointed by the dessert options (limited due to covid). I'm not a fan of flower-favored food, and the milk custard turned out to be way too strong of a rosewater flavor for us. Looking forward to another visit and trying the other desserts when they're available.
We were visiting San antonio and were looking for halal food and found Azro. Loved it!! Awesome Afghani food, we had Kabuli pulao and Chapli kabab, both were awesome. Mint tea in the end was a delight. Must try
Delicious food with good quality and beautiful design. Nice and clean place and very very kind staff. Really enjoyed.
First time visit, Small quaint restaurant, good social distancing measures in place. Excellent food. The kabobs were tender and moist. Grilled to perfection. Definitely will return.
