What an amazing place! The Doom mural has been fabulously restored and is now quite breathtaking. Delightful volunteers give you all the info you could wish for. The photos dont give it justice, pop in and visit!

Place of quiet reflection. The Doom painting was preserved by the puritan reformation who whitewashed it, allowing us to see it in alloys glory. Not what they had in mind.
What an amazing interior, the Doom painting above the isle is amazing. The volunteers of the church were extremely knowledgeable and courteous.
Lovely old church tucked away in the heart of Salisbury. Not far from the Poultry Cross. Light and airy due to big windows. Fantastic tree festival every December, worth a visit. Don't just visit the cathedral, come to St.Thomas & St.Edmund's. Fabulous acoustics.
This is a quite impressive church. It is good to see such a well maintained building and indeed there is considerable cleaning of centuries old art on the walls being undertaken at present (Autumn 2019). Even more impressive are the signs of life here. Congregations at weekly worship were reported to be around 200. There was evidence of a creche and a large team in lay ministry of various types. A delightful parishioner named Judith welcomed us and instantly made us feel welcome.
