Really cool museum, well worth visiting to see the ancient pottery, silver and gold, but perhaps the most interesting items are the Quipu. Also of particular interest was the fertility pottery.

This beautiful and calm museum is full of life. Surrounded by the tranquility, located right in the center of the world, this beloved child of pristine nature, gloriously smile under the starry skies.

It is a very nice museum. Here you can admire a beautiful collection of ceramics that date back before the so called discovery by Columbus. Additionally, the museum is located inside a beautiful colonial mansion. The garden with all its plants is worthy in itself. Definitely, a good way to explota part of the rich history encountered on the Peruvian territory. They also have a restaurant. As always in this type of locations it is overpriced but never the less the atmosphere is beautiful. If you can afford it just do it.

What an amazing place. I would count their grounds as one of life’s happy places for me. The museum and collection is wonderful and interesting. An impressive inventory to say the least of Inca era artifacts.

This museum is amazing. It has an extraordinary private collection of ceramics and the grounds are really beautiful. They offer a 10 minute video with an introduction and overview to Peru’s history. They alternate between English and Spanish versions of the video with subtitles in other languages. We took the guided tour and we were glad because we learned a lot. Their gift shop has really nice souvenirs so make sure you stop by.

I loved this museo. The ceramic collection is vast. They have their storage on display- that is so rare! You will see a mummy, full gold headdress, erotic ceramics, learn a ton of information then soak it all in with some wine at the garden cafe!

Looking for a bit of Peruvian history? This is a great place to start and it is very easily accessible while in Lima. The garden is beautiful and there are literally thousands of artifacts. Definitely recommend and you can even grab a bite to eat as the restaurant they have on site is very good and has a nice ambience.
